Tug Hill Inn is ideally located in the heart of the Tug Hill Plateau; with a picturesque from our back deck, it would be an perfect location to find solitude. Tug Hill is known for producing the biggest White Tail Deer in New York. The take can be awarding up to 200 plus pounds and there have been reports of bigger deer yet. With miles of State Land to hunt deer, grouse and rabbits the hunter will have many tales to tell. We are located near Deer River, which flows into the Black River; and Mad River, which flows into the Salmon River. Both are inhabited by trout and fishermen don't talk just about what was caught but the melody of Deer and Mad River that flows through the valleys; and on each side echoes the music that only one can hear.

We are an Restaurant with a Full Bar. Motel rooms are available by the night, week or season. Gas pumps are located outside the Restaurant for ATV & Snow Sleds. We have events through the year in our Inn and many other events on Tug Hill.
